Judge Lucy Inman

Judge Lucy Inman has served in courtrooms across North Carolina for more than a decade, first in the Superior Court and now on the Court of Appeals. Her record shows that she always follows the law and treats every person in court equally, fairly, and with respect. Judge Inman’s experience makes her uniquely qualified to advance the cause of justice on the North Carolina Supreme Court.

Justice Sam Ervin
NC Supreme Court, Seat 5
Justice Ervin was elected as an associate justice on the North Carolina Supreme Court in 2014, winning a full term that expires on December 31, 2022. Prior to being elected to the NC Supreme Court, Justice Ervin served on the NC Court of Appeals from 2009 to 2015 and was a member of the NC Utilities Commission from 1999 to 2009. Justice Ervin is renowned for his independence and devotion to impartiality.

Judge Carolyn Thompson
NC Court of Appeals, Seat 8
Judge Carolyn Thompson is a former District Court judge and Superior Court judge with over 25 years of combined legal and judicial experience. She’s a seasoned trial attorney and former jurist. She believes that true justice is independent of party affiliation, divisive ideologies, and social differences. She is committed to serving with integrity, fairness, and impartiality.

Judge Brad Salmon
NC Court of Appeals, Seat 9
Judge Brad Salmon currently serves as a District Court Judge for District 11 covering Lee, Harnett, and Johnston counties. He is a founding partner of The Salmon Law Firm where he focused on representing clients in various criminal, civil and administrative matters. He is a graduate of North Carolina State University and the Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. Brad and his wife live in Sanford, North Carolina.

Judge Gale Adams

Judge Gale Adams has served as a Naval Judge Advocate General (JAG) Officer, Assistant District Attorney, Assistant Federal Public Defender, and Resident Superior Court Judge for Cumberland County. She fully recognizes the tremendous impact her decisions have on people’s lives. Thus, she approaches cases with the resolve to render a fair and equitable decision for all concerned, treating everyone with dignity and respect.

Judge Darren Jackson

In 2020, Governor Roy Cooper appointed Judge Darren Jackson to the Court of Appeals, and he is now seeking a full 8-year term. After Judge Jackson earned his law degree from Duke University, he practiced law in Zebulon. He’s a lifelong resident of eastern Wake County, father of three, small-town attorney, small businessman, and active community volunteer (Communities in Schools and East Wake Education Foundation).

Judge Quintin McGee
District Court Judge
In 2020, Governor Roy Cooper appointed Judge Quintin McGee as a District 13 Court Judge for Bladen, Brunswick, and Columbus Counties. He is now seeking re-election. Judge McGee has served as an attorney in private practice and later represented the citizens of Bladen, Brunswick, and Columbus Counties as an Assistant District Attorney in the 15th District DA’s Office from 2012-2020.
